A practical coordination process with clear handoffs.
Every shipment is different, but customers should always know what information is needed, what happens next, and who is coordinating the move.

Confirm the shipment details, route, timing, documentation, and handling requirements.
02
Build the routing plan
Evaluate the transportation mode, available routing, handoffs, and destination needs.
03
Coordinate the movement
Work with carriers, airlines, truckers, warehouses, brokers, and overseas agents.
04
Communicate the signal
Share milestones, exceptions, next steps, and decisions without unnecessary noise.
01 — OCEAN FREIGHT
Flexible ocean coordination for full, partial, and specialized shipments.
BT coordinates FCL and LCL import and export movements through key international ports. The service can include carrier bookings, documentation flow, shipment tracking, and destination planning.
Routing is built around cargo volume, origin, destination, timing, equipment needs, and the handoffs required after arrival.
FCL coordination
Full-container import and export planning based on equipment and routing needs.
LCL coordination
Less-than-container options for cargo that does not require a full container.
Bookings and documentation
Carrier coordination and information flow for the documents that support the shipment.
Tracking and destination planning
Milestone follow-up and coordination for arrival, pickup, and the next inland move.
WHEN AIR FREIGHT FITS
Speed matters—but the routing still has to make sense.
• Time-sensitive cargo
• Urgent replenishment needs
• High-priority documents or parts
• Domestic or international air routing
• Shipments requiring dependable milestone visibility
02 — AIR FREIGHT
Time-sensitive coordination based on urgency, routing, and cargo requirements.
BT coordinates international and domestic airfreight when the shipment requires a faster transportation option. Routing decisions consider urgency, cargo characteristics, airport access, available schedules, and the ground movements at origin and destination.
The objective is not simply to choose the fastest mode—it is to build a workable plan and keep the customer informed through the critical milestones.
03 — INLAND TRANSPORTATION
Coordinated inland movement across the United States.
BT coordinates door-to-door and port-to-door transportation throughout all 50 states. Ground services can support international shipments after arrival, export cargo moving to port, and domestic transportation between facilities.
Port and airport pickups
Coordinate the inland handoff after cargo arrives at the gateway.
Door-to-door movement
Plan transportation between facilities, warehouses, and final destinations.
Export positioning
Move cargo toward the port or airport while supporting the export timeline.

Some shipments need regulatory authority, local representation, exception management, or regional operating knowledge in addition to transportation.

Coordination with licensed customs brokers and customers to support entry documentation and clearance.
Shipment Recovery & Exception Management
